Bone fragments in the river and the uncle's clothes seized last November 6 in the cottage in Novellara where the 18-year-old Pakistani woman is presumed to have been killed.

With these two elements the Ris di Parma want to write the end - at least at an investigative level - on the story of the girl killed by relatives for opposing an arranged marriage at home.

The carabinieri were called by a person who found the remains of a skull cap in a floodplain area of the Po river. he immediately connected to the story of Saman's younger brother, who reported some words overheard during a family reunion: “Let's tear it to pieces, throw it in Guastalla, where there is a river”.

So the specialized examination of the bone fragment was ordered to Ris to extract the biological profile of the DNA and understand if it could be that of Saman. At the same time, in search of traces compatible with the victim, the clothes seized on 6 November last in the cottage where all the members of the Habbas family worked in Novellara must be analyzed. Clothes belonging to the Danish uncle Hasnain, believed to be the material perpetrator of the crime that according to the investigator would have been consumed on the night between 29 and 30 April.

A planned crime because Saman had refused an arranged marriage with a cousin in his homeland, but also for having become engaged to a compatriot who disliked his family and for living in a way considered too "western" by his family.

THE JUDICIAL FRONT - France is expected to grant the extradition of Danish, arrested in Paris on 22 September last. After two postponements by the Chambre de l 'Instruction in Paris (a sort of Court of Appeal), the decision is expected for next January 5th.

Handing the man over to the Italian authorities who want to interrogate him as soon as possible could represent a turning point given that the other arrested, Ikram Ijaz (Saman's cousin, also captured in France, in Nimes, on 28 May then extradited to Italy on 9 June. and in prison in Reggio Emilia where he still is) has always said he is extraneous to the affair without ever providing useful elements to the judiciary.

The other cousin Nomanhulaq Nomanhulaq is still fugitive, as are his parents, his father Shabbar Abbas and his mother Nazia Shaheen, who fled to Pakistan with a flight from Malpensa (where they were filmed by cameras) on May 1st, after the alleged crime. All five suspects are accused, in competition, of premeditated murder and aggravated by family ties, kidnapping and concealment of a still undiscovered body.

We have to wait until mid-January for the results of the Ris analyzes on the bone fragments.
