A magnitude 3.3 earthquake was recorded at 10:06 PM by the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology, three kilometers from the center of Veroli, in the province of Frosinone, with its epicenter 10 kilometers from the surface. "It was very scary; we all felt it distinctly because it was a shaking shock, and suddenly everything started shaking. It lasted a very short time. For now, I can say that there have been no collapses, no damage, and no injuries," explained Germano Caperna, mayor of Veroli.

The Carabinieri and the Municipal Police immediately coordinated and began a patrol to assess the situation. Mayor Caperna joined them: "Given the intensity and the way the tremor was felt, we feared greater damage," he said. "Instead, there was virtually no damage. During the patrol, we noted the presence of several people in the streets, fearing further tremors."
