11-month-old girl bitten by family dog

He saw the family dog attacking his daughter, an 11-month-old girl and, to defend her, he did not hesitate to stab the animal.
It happened in Busto Arsizio, in the province of Varese. The little girl was bitten by the Bull Terrier and her father managed to intervene within moments. Then the request for help to 112: the ambulance and the air ambulance were sent to the scene. The little girl was transferred to hospital in Milan, while the dog is hospitalized in a veterinary clinic.
Local police officers have the task of reconstructing what happened.
