After missing Friday's trip to France due to rotation, Cagliari midfielder Alessandro Romano is back in Roberto Mancini's squad for Italy vs. Turkey in the Nations League ( tonight at 8:45 PM at the Dall'Ara in Bologna ). The Rossoblu player could start, as he did in his unfortunate debut ten days ago in Rome against Belgium, in what would be his third appearance for the Azzurri (he came as a substitute in the first leg in Bursa last Monday).

Daniel Maldini is also in contention for a starting spot . Among those excluded by Mancini, in addition to Moise Kean, who left the training camp early due to an injury, are goalkeeper Massimo Pessina, defenders Diego Coppola, Daniele Ghilardi, and Eddy Kouadio, midfielders Rolando Mandragora and Samuele Ricci, and striker Mohamed Alì Zoma.
