Cagliari came close to scoring several times, but the first half at the Bluenergy Stadium in the Italian Cup against Udinese ended 0-0.
Ranieri revolutionizes the team, with the return of Radunovic between the posts, defense with Di Pardo, Wieteska, Hatzidiakos and Azzi, Makoumbou and Sulemana in midfield and Petagna up front, with the support of Oristanio, Shomurodov and Jankto. Cagliari dominates the pitch, against an Udinese team that shows obvious technical and tactical limitations.
Di Pardo's match lasts 17 minutes due to a muscle problem and Zappa comes on in his place. Oristanio confirms his excellent moment and comes close to scoring in the 13th minute (out) and especially in the 20th minute, when all alone in front of Okoye he is stopped by the Friulian goalkeeper.
And Okoye still has to intervene twice more on Oristanio and above all Shomurodov, well served by Petagna. At the other end, Radunovic remained inactive, but the first half ended goalless.
