Roberto Battiston , former President of the Italian Space Agency, Anna Tonelli, Silvio Pons and Vittorio Pelligra will be the guests of the first of the three seminars organized by the Berlinguer Foundation under the title "Italian culture in the years of Enrico Berlinguer", and scheduled in the capital Sardinian with the aim of discussing the ideas and relationships of the political leader in the seventies and early eighties of the last century.

The meeting - in the Cagliari headquarters of the Fondazione di Sardegna (via San Salvatore da Horta 2) - is scheduled for Thursday 24 November (at 4.30 pm) with the title "The ideas and politics of Enrico Berlinguer".

THE PROGRAM – After the greeting of the president of the Enrico Berlinguer Foundation, Salvatore Cherchi , the initiative will be moderated by Maria Del Zompo and Gianluca Scrooccu with speeches by Silvio Pons, Anna Tonelli, Vittorio Pelligra and Roberto Battiston.

The three meetings – the following ones will take place on December 1st and 13th – , organized in collaboration with the University of Cagliari, conclude the year of the centenary of the birth of Enrico Berlinguer .

Among the many contributions, it should be noted that of the Faculty of Humanities which offered the scientific contribution of numerous teachers and involved male and female students in a work of studies and insights into multiple fields whose results will be presented during the second and third day. The Scientific Committee of the Enrico Berlinguer Foundation gave an essential contribution to the conception and concrete organization of the programme.

The program is supported by the Fondazione di Sardegna, the CGIL and the Lega delle Cooperative.
