Inter beat Milan 2-1 and become Italian champions
Acerbi and Thuram scored, Tomori's goal was in vain. Brawl at the end: Theo, Dumfries and Calabria sent off. Victory and second star for Simone Inzaghi's Nerazzurri
The dream of Inter fans and the nightmare of AC Milan fans materialize : Simone Inzaghi's team wins the Milan Derby and becomes Italian Champion , winning the twentieth championship in its history, which is worth the second star.
At San Siro the super match between Milan and Inter ends 2-1 for the Nerazzurri, now unreachable at +17 in the standings.
Barella and his teammates broke the deadlock after 18 minutes: Dimarco's corner, Pavard headed the ball past Acerbi who, again with his head, found the winning deflection that beat Maignan .
Milan seemed to feel the pinch and just before the 25th minute Lautaro found the ball at his feet to double the lead: El Toro, however, devoured a goal he had scored, sending it out from an excellent position.

In the second half, Inter only needed three minutes to score again: the second goal was scored by Thuram who surprised Maignan with a right-footed shot from the edge of the box and slotted it into the bottom corner.
Milan tries to respond with Theo Hernandez, but Sommer still opposes. Then it's Leao who tries to shake up his team, but without creating too many problems for the Inter defense.
In the central phase of the second half, Inzaghi's team limited themselves to possession, while Pioli tried to give more weight to the attack by introducing Giroud, Chukwueze and then Okafor. But it is Pulisic who becomes dangerous, but kicks high.
In the 77th minute Inzaghi also changes, recalling Barella to the bench for Frattesi.
With 10 to go, Milan manages to reopen the match: Chukwueze's cross, Leao acts as a tower for Gabbia, Sommer and the post oppose the defender's deflection, but Tomori heads the tap-in into an empty net.
Then another round of substitutions for Inzaghi, while Milan attempts the final assault. In injury time a real brawl broke out, with Dumfries and Theo Hernandez almost coming to blows and in the end they were both sent off by the referee Colombo . Then another red, in Calabria . These are the last sparks: at the final whistle the Nerazzurri party can begin.
