Inauguration of the academic year in Cagliari, Minister Messa: "Valuing research"
The Minister of the University in the capital: "To combat early school leaving we need job prospects"The Minister of University and Research Maria Cristina Messa participates this morning in the ceremony, underway at the Rectorate in the Castello district, for the inauguration of the academic year of the University of Cagliari .
During the ceremony, presided over by the rector of the Cagliari University Francesco Mola , the lights and shadows of the highest level education in Italy were examined and the need for the universities of Sardinia to be strengthened was discussed.
The minister stressed that an attractive university is able to guarantee prospects and can be of help in the fight against early school leaving , which sees Sardinia in first place in Italy .
" Enhancing research " and "giving job prospects in step with the times" are the two recipes for promoting the university and fighting early school leaving.
