Campo Largo looks to the Administrative Council with an ambitious objective: to reconquer the large Sardinian cities, with Cagliari, Sassari and Alghero among the main challenges.

A dream which, to be transformed into reality, requires finding the right candidates. The primaries in Cagliari will certainly not take place. Yesterday the coalition table met in Via Emilia for an initial discussion.

«The main road is the one taken during the Regional elections», reiterated the citizen coordinator of the M5S Michele Ciusa, «which allowed us to conquer the government of the Region». And the city secretary of the Democratic Party, Guido Portoghese, added: «No names were proposed and, with everyone's agreement, it was decided to wait until April 9th, next Tuesday, the day on which the Council will be presented and the President elected. president of the regional council. It goes without saying that, from that moment, the table, adjourned until Wednesday 10 April at 6pm, is convened sine die: a decision is urgently needed."

The only name that emerged yesterday in Via Emilia was reiterated by Luciano Uras, noble father of the Progressists, and it is that of Massimo Zedda.

Even in Sassari, as in Alghero, the choice is not easy. In Sassari, while the centre-right, with the coronation of the rector Gavino Mariotti, and the civics, with the choice of Nicola Lucchi as leader for the post-Nanni Campus, seem to have found the square, the Campo largo is still in the negotiation phase. Mariano Brianda, a former judge who, five years ago, opposed and succumbed to Nanni Campus, has given his availability. The coup de theatre, i.e. Gianfranco Ganau's re-nomination for Palazzo Ducale, cannot be completely ruled out. However, the most accredited name, which could be closed shortly, is that of the provincial secretary of the Dem Giuseppe Mascia.
