It is an important debut that marks the start of a process of promotion of the Sardinian wine sector in the capital. With 40 companies and over 170 wines to taste, the first edition of La Sardegna di Vinodabere will be the protagonist in Rome on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22. Knowing and meeting the wine production of a fascinating island like Sardinia, among bubbles, reds, whites and rosés, is what the event organized next weekend at the Hotel Belsaty will offer.

«There will be 40 Sardinian wineries selected by the Vinodabere team coordinated by the director Maurizio Valeriani, a profound connoisseur of Sardinian production, who will lead visitors on a journey to discover many different areas, namely Alghero, Gallura, Mamoiada, Mandrolisai, Ogliastra, Orgosolo, Oristanese, Sorso, Sulcis and southern Sardinia. Some of these same territories will also be the protagonists of the masterclasses scheduled for Saturday 21 January», explain the organizers. «The purpose of this event, in its first year of life, is to promote a viticulture where there is still so much to discover, through the tasting of wines produced by even small and lesser-known realities, as well as by wineries known throughout the world". Vinodabere's Sardinia will be a vinous experience made up of a thousand colours, nuances and smells: a tour in a land made up of history and traditions, with an attentive and curious gaze on the future.

The program includes the masterclass "Carignano del Sulcis and the ungrafted foot" on Saturday at 9, conducted by Dario Cappelloni and Maurizio Valeriani. At 10.30, masterclass "Mamoiada and mountain viticulture" with Dario Cappelloni, Antonio Paolini and Maurizio Valeriani.
