Great emotion at Mariposa de cardu - a project of Il Crogiuolo - theater intervention center in memory of Luisa and Stefano Atzeri - for the presentation of the musical album "Travessu" by Pier Paolo Vacca. An appointment not to be missed tomorrow at 7pm at Su Idanu in via Mameli in Quartucciu.

“Travessu” is the debut album of the organ player from Ovodda Pierpaolo Vacca, for Tuk Music. Entirely arranged, composed, played and chiseled by him featuring Dino Rubino, Pape Ndiaye, Nanni Gaias, Dj Cris and Fabio Calzia. The title literally means "reverse", also in the sense of "contrary" or, again, as something that overturns and mixes. The meaning of the album is here: starting from dances, dances and passing through rites and traditions of its area of origin, we live the experience of music that is overwhelmed and smoothed by the use of electronics, projecting ourselves into a world in which the sounds of the past meet with the sounds of the present. And with a further sense of reversal the album ends with the traditional dances that are still sung and danced by the community today, authentic customs handed down over time that have accompanied social changes for centuries, adapting and never dying out: it is no coincidence that this work inaugurates the ETNOTUK, sub-label dedicated to world music.

It is important to remember that you are going to a vegetable garden, so it is necessary to wear comfortable shoes and practical clothes and to always bring water to drink in a bottle.
