The municipal library of Porto Torres is preparing for the "Night of Puppets" event, an initiative designed for the week dedicated to the national "Born to Read" program which is inspired by the Stuffed Animals Sleepover, a widespread practice in the United States and now also in Japan with the name Nuigurumi Otomarikai, told in the illustrated book by Kazuhito Kazeki and Chiaki Okada.

The event will take place over two days, Tuesday 21st and Wednesday 22nd November at 4.30pm in the library room.

On the first day, Tuesday, little readers will be able to bring their favorite puppet to the library so that he can have a pajama party with his puppet friends and spend the whole night there, after listening to a good story with him. On Wednesday 22nd, everyone will go and pick up their stuffed animal friend and discover what they did during the night with the other puppets and which book they chose for their human, all thanks to the complicity of the librarians who, hidden in the library, will observe every move of the cheerful group of puppets.
