A composed and moved crowd accompanied the last journey of Francesco Pilu , the Padre artist who died on Wednesday at the age of 72.

In the church of Sant'Ignazio da Laconi the coffin of the leader of the Cordas et Cannas is covered in white flowers and symbolically wrapped in the flag of the four Moors: "Franziscu", his Sardinia like his music, one thing proudly carried in the world. In the brief homily of his friend Father Carlo, the Capuchin friar wanted to underline his human as well as artistic qualities, as a " person who knew how to live with others, who knew how to live in relationships" , ready to spend himself for others and always with a smile . A person who exuded humility, the memory of many, despite the greatness of his art.

Various spontaneous musical tributes, from the Franciscan "Dolce Sentire" sung by Enzo Mugoni to "Deus ti salvet Maria" sung by the Tenores di Bitti .
