Eight murals to tell the care of the environment, nature and life , in a " better world " that focuses on the individual, his dignity, social relationships, ethics and tolerance .

It is a story between the present and the future that created in Loceri by Michela Casula, an artist originally from the area, in a series of works that have taken shape in the streets of the historic center since early December.

The author is renowned for her well-defined style and is the signature of many works on canvas present throughout Ogliastra and Sardinia.

Together with her, for the occasion, the Union of Municipalities of Ogliastra and the municipal administration led by mayor Gianfranco Lecca, with whom Casula imagined the artistic project "A Better World" and "Involucri". The various murals, depicting small glimpses of daily life, represent the themes of integration, inclusion, empathy, gender equality, respect for people and the environment .

«I strongly wanted to touch these themes and open new windows on art - says Michela Casula - Openness to beauty is the engine of enthusiasm and the desire to improve. The project, in fact, is an integral part of a philosophy and a process of attention to nature, the values of society, curiosity and color that as an artist I want to bring into the walls of my country».
