In Ittireddu the third edition of the Sardinian breed donkey show

Success, at the Ittireddu municipal gallop, for the third edition of the Sardinian breed donkey show, organized by Anareai, Aars, Municipality of Ittireddu and Ittireddese Equestrian Association. The competition, in which thirty animals from all over the island were registered, saw the victory in the male category of the stallion Musetto, bred by Matteo Pilleri of San Vito. Second place and third place went to the stallions Dorgali and Ilbono of Antonio Canu and Sottero Satta of Ittireddu. In the female category, victory went to the donkey Chilivani of Antonio Canu and Sottero Satta of Ittireddu, followed by Gioia di Uta of Antonio Luigi Suella of Uta. In third place Treccia of Giuseppe Cotzia of Cuglieri.
The technical meeting held by the professors of the Department of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Sassari Eraldo Sanna Passino and Maria Grazia Cappai, dedicated to the main pathologies of the donkey, was also well attended.
The president of Aar Sardegna, Luciano Useli Bacchitta, expressed «great satisfaction for how the event is growing year after year. There is certainly still something to improve but the presence of almost 50 animals is an indicator of how breeders appreciate this event».
