Disability, diversity, gender issues are at the center of Lucido Festival , scheduled from 17 to 20 November in Cagliari , between Exmà, Cinema Odissea, Il Ridotto and Liceo Artistico Foiso Fois. The artistic direction of the project is by the LucidoSottile company , with the actresses and directors Tiziana Troja and Michela Sale Musio .

The title chosen for this eighth edition is " Absence more acute ", which offers over ten shows with national and international artists and personalities from the world of culture, society and science. A range of projects focused on interdisciplinarity and advanced artistic research, ranging between the languages of dance, theatre, cabaret and music.

Alongside the initiative, the collaboration of the Giulia Giornaliste association , committed to respecting an inclusive language and a narrative that does not reinforce stereotypes and gender imbalances and the LPTW (The League of Professional Theater Women) , made up of directors, producers , organizers, actresses, theater operators from 63 countries around the world .

Numerous guests: Jessi D. Hill, Crystal Skillman, Lily Ali-Oshatz Monica Nappo, Valentina Lodovini, Annagaia Marchioro, Adele Madau, Lella De Marchi, Gustavo Gini, Gianluca Vassallo, Batisfera, Andrea Lanza, Irene Di Dio, Albachiara Gandolfo, Paola Silvia Dolci, Mattia Berto, Zoe Pia, Laura Caparrotti, Fabio Marceddu and Antonello Murgia, Alessandra Addari.

A series of workshops will be dedicated to very young people aged between 14 and 17 and 50% of the activities have a social purpose . «In recent years – underline the two artistic directors – we have given a voice to those who have made a point of strength or turning point out of disability or diversity. We have brought men and women who fight for the rights of other women to the stage, showing that not only can illness, disability and diversity be shown on stage, but that in showing them, the veils of "non-knowledge" and reluctance to it bound, they fall".
