The real, huge health problem in Sardinia is the lack of staff . There are no more doctors and nurses, in three and a half years we have hired almost six thousand people , and it takes time to train new ones. We continue to pay for the disasters that the previous council bequeathed us ”.

Thus the regional health councilor Mario Nieddu , in the aftermath of the great protest demonstration - “Let's take care of Sardinia” - organized by Cgil, Cisl and Uil.

Nieddu continues: "We are always ready for dialogue, but the unions ask for things that we are already doing".
