Health education and defibrillation, a training course in Torre delle Stelle
An important project born from the collaboration between municipalities, private and social
A year has passed since, in Torre delle Stelle and more precisely on the beach of Genn'e Mari, a child was about to lose his life due to a heart attack . And today the newly founded Torre Viva association , as it had promised, has created a free training course on "Basic life support, adult / pediatric defibrillation and notions of health education", an initiative aimed at the community of Torre delle Stelle and Solanas.
A project realized thanks to the precious support of the local community and beyond , and which last week involved a dozen people in the Club House in Torre delle Stelle, under contract to the private agency VigilPol, which kindly hosted the initiative.
“When it comes to safety we are always at the forefront” underlined Michele Ibba of the Association “Riprendiamoci Torre delle Stelle”, an association that has made safety its strong point thanks to the private agency VigilPol.
Networking was very important both for operations and for word of mouth: the two training days involved the Misericordia di Torino - from which the trainer Mario Frego comes - and the Misericordia di Sinnai, as well as the two Municipalities of Maracalagonis and Sinnai, which jointly sponsored the proposal. The New Association, Tennis Torre delle Stelle, Vivere Torre and all the businesses were also very useful and effective in promoting the event.
"The goal of the Torre Viva Association is to support a healthy community development that can arise from the love for these places, from the constructive encounter with those who live there all year round and with those who return every summer for their whole life, as well as from the collaboration between municipalities, private and social; we hope that collaboration can also be the basic ingredient for the future rebirth of the fields ”.
