Great scare today during the second category football match between Gioventù Assemini and Pgs Audax.
The 22-year-old Assemini defender, Alessandro Marchi, suffered a severe blow to the head in a play tackle. After the episode, the young man went into a state of confusion, also showing a loss of memory: the managers of his team thus requested the intervention of an ambulance.
At the moment the boy is in the hospital for the first tests.
The youth director, Ivo Murgia: «Alessandro's situation seems to be improving», he says, «he is starting to recover his memory. We are awaiting further news from the parents. We all hope that the situation will be resolved in the best possible way."
