Vincenzo Stochino, captain of Idolo, has been handed a very severe disciplinary measure: he will be suspended for ten games following his expulsion in the 4-0 defeat against Decimo 07. The incident occurred last Sunday, during the match on the fourth day of Group A of the First Category.

As highlighted by the Sports Judge, after the expulsion for a second yellow card, Stochino " grabbed the referee by the wrist and snatched the card from his hand, which he bent, while simultaneously shouting disrespectful phrases at him . His teammates retrieved the card and handed it back to the referee and had to intervene to remove Stochino from the pitch."

The heavy sanction is for disrespectful conduct towards the referee, resulting in physical contact, and is aggravated by his role as captain and the additional match suspension for his dismissal for a second yellow card. Stochino will begin serving his extended suspension on Sunday, when Quartu 2000 arrives at Sturrusè in Arzana, and will be eligible to return to the field only in 2026: on the final matchday of the first half of the season, January 11th away to Azzurra Monserrato .
