There is much anticipation for the release, scheduled for December 8, on Netflix, of the documentary "Harry and Meghan" , six episodes in which the dukes of Sussex tell their truth about their "divorce" from Buckingham Palace.

According to the tabloids, in fact, there are mainly reasons of image and economic interests behind the choice of the two to lend their faces to the series .

And, just on the eve of the series' debut on the streaming platform, there is also a curious case involving Markle and William's wife, the other son of King Charles III, Kate Middleton.

To the great surprise both Meghan and Kate, a few days apart from each other, in fact wore dresses with completely uncovered shoulders, in violation of the House Windsor dress code .

An outfit that recalls the famous "revenge dress" that in 1994 Lady Diana wore to the Vanity Fair party, first violating the looks permitted by the Court protocol, to take revenge on her husband Carlo who had recently confessed to having cheated on her with Camilla Parker Bowles.

Times have changed and Middleton and Markle's daring outfits no longer arouse so much amazement. The fact remains that both opted for a dress not only with a neckline, but also with a dizzying slit in the two events that recently saw them as protagonists: Kate in Boston for the delivery of the Earthshot awards for the environment, Meghan instead in New York to collect the "Ripple of Hope" humanitarian award, awarded to her for the "moral courage" shown with her husband Harry in fighting "institutional racism".

In Diana's case, the target of revenge was clear while this time the message behind the low-cut outfit chosen by the two is not clear. Maybe there isn't and it's just a coincidence. What is certain is that the violation of etiquette has not gone unnoticed.
