Guè, a night at the Fair dedicated to Milanese rap by the Golden Boy

Call him Guè, no longer Guè Pequeno.

At the Opera Music Forum of the Cagliari Fair, even the mega screen of the last date of the Seven Urban Summit remembers him. Because it is true that the last tour with his companions Club Dogo has reinvigorated the historic Milanese rap project, but he has many "big" things for 2025, built with the effort of the soloist.

On Saturday, in the Cagliari showcase, twenty-four hours after Anna, Guè shows that he is no longer "pequeno", small. From Friday to Saturday the faces change: many over 24s are seen behind the front rows, no parents. Everyone is waiting for The Godfather of Italian rap, who knows how to dialogue in music and rhymes with multiple generations, jumping from neighborhood stories - not without wounds and deviations - to even toxic relationships.

Cosimo Fini - as he is registered - starts at two fifteen. Forty minutes and more, talking between one piece and another with the audience that proves, also tonight, to be prepared. He does not forget a strong bond with Cagliari: «It is a tradition to be there, a continuous pleasure, a place where I love to perform».

In his setlist - brown leather jacket by Dogo with Milano Bastards written on it, white Supreme shirt, chain with the G and the inevitable Timberland suede boots, worn by many guests - there is everything you would expect. A concentrate that goes through, also with a dialogue with his DJ Dero, his artistic and non-artistic life, the difficulties of the beginning, the falls and the success. Seven platinum records and a flourishing production: nine studio albums (one with Marracash), two live, a collection, seven mixtapes, two EPs and over seventy singles, of which over ten as a guest.

Immediately emotions with the sample of the dance piece Infinity that introduces “∞Love”, a sketch of his and Marracash’s artistic and human maturity, from the roots to the big stages. Flashback with Scooteroni - together with Dogo - and Guè mimes the wheelie. He asks to “make a mess” and “hands in the air” and strings together a breathless hat trick: Mollami, he scans the G, the U, the E of Instalove and then Guersace.

He advances towards the crowd, often turns to the console that suggests him to «go on something sweet». The sound becomes light with Chico - with Rose Villain - followed by Cookie n' cream with Anna and Sfera. More loves with 2%, between being a playboy and having a broken heart.
