Bars, pubs and restaurants with fewer customers due to the fear of Covid. And with the costs that rise from month to month also for the expensive bills.

Open letter from Fipe Confcommercio to the president of the Region Christian Solinas: "Expenses now exceed earnings, 70% of the premises have now decided to open only from Thursday to Sunday", explains Emanuele Frongia, president of Fipe Confcommercio Sud Sardegna who speaks to name of the members of the whole region.

“We immediately supported the introduction of the green pass, but the vaccination campaign has now reached very important milestones. It is quite clear that a growing asymmetry is taking place between the social benefits linked to the adoption of the green pass and the costs borne by the companies in the sector ".

Practical and economic difficulties because “in terms of controls - insists Frongia - the costs remain and the difficulties increase. Just think that from June to today the operators in the sector have had to study and adapt to 65 national measures that from time to time modify the regulation of the flow of foreigners, the duration of vaccines, the management of the recovered, the validity of the booster doses, the various exceptions and so on ".

The request is to abolish the obligation of a Green pass to access public establishments, "in our opinion the conditions have been met". Or, alternatively, introduce the principle of self-responsibility, so that "in the face of a control by the police only the customer must answer for any lack of green certification".
