Returning to revive a Torres side that hasn't won in two and a half months and is second to last, coach Alfonso Greco first made a statement that does him credit: "Before answering your questions, I'd particularly like to revisit my leave at the end of the season. It's not my style. I was angry, disappointed, and I didn't behave with respect towards the fans and everyone else."

He had also been recalled three seasons ago, replacing Sottili, who had replaced him during the season: "There's more time than a few years ago, but the situation is more critical for various reasons. I think we need to focus solely on the best interests of Torres now, so we can all get out of this together."

The Rossoblu coach is confident: "After the second training session, I can tell you that I found the players, even the new ones, to be talented and eager. We know it will be tough, but I'm sure we'll gradually get out of this situation; the foundations are there. The three key concepts are: awareness, responsibility, and a light-hearted approach."
