Massimo Ranieri has landed on the island to delight his vast audience with “Tutti i sogni ancora in volo” , the latest show by the great Neapolitan artist, a true music legend and beloved by three generations of fans, who will stop tonight, Saturday 29 March, at 9 pm at the Teatro Comunale in Sassari and tomorrow at the same time at the Teatro Lirico in Cagliari.
Promoted and organized by the Cultural Association “Il Leone e le Cornucopie” directed by the patron Fabio Alescio , the event offers the opportunity to immerse yourself in the art and talent of Massimo Ranieri, in a show that blends the extraordinary versatility of an icon of Italian entertainment with the emotion of his most beloved songs and his timeless interpretations.
“Tutti i sogni ancora in volo” is a journey through singing, acting and unpublished stories. Created and written by Edoardo Falcone and Massimo Ranieri, the show takes up the success of the TV variety show of the same name, broadcast on Raiuno, and includes timeless songs such as “Rose rosse” and “Perdere l'amore”, alongside the more recent “Lettera di là dal mare”, winner of the Critics' Award at Sanremo 2022.
His last appearance in Sardinia dates back to 2021 when he starred in a grandiose show at the Arena Parco della Musica interrupted shortly before the finale by pouring rain that forced the company and the audience to abandon the location.
On that occasion Massimo Ranieri was a guest of the University of Cagliari for a meeting with the public that was a huge success, demonstrating the extraordinary empathy that this brilliant character continues to emanate after almost 60 years of career.
Eight participations at Sanremo and one victory in 1988 with “Perdere l'amore”, but before that the victory at Cantagiro in 1969 and two triumphs at Canzonissima in 1970 and 1972.
His last appearance on the stage of the Ariston Theatre was last February with “Tra le mani un cuore” written for him by a prestigious team of authors including Nek and Tiziano Ferro.
