After the success of his recent documentaries, Sardinian director Roberto Pili returns with a new creative challenge: Goppà, a short film with a noir atmosphere, set in the night streets of Cagliari. The film, performed entirely in the Cagliari dialect, is a tribute to the city and to a dimension that has now disappeared, steeped in mystery.

Giuseppe Ungari - a photographer and collaborator of the Unione Sarda - is the actor and screenwriter of this project, supported in the acting by Valter Coculo and Giampaolo Massa . The independent production bears the signature of Francesco Pili, while Roberto Pili also takes on the role of director of photography, giving an intense and immersive visual imprint.

The plot revolves around the meeting, after twenty years, of two criminals with an unresolved past . Happy to see each other again, the two are forced to deal with an issue left unresolved, giving rise to a crescendo of tension and unpredictable twists. Through the performances of his actors, Goppà evokes attitudes of the Cagliari underworld of the past, giving the viewer a suggestive glimpse of a Cagliari that no longer exists.
