Lisa Loring, the actress who first portrayed little Wednesday in the television series “ The Addams Family ”, has died at the age of 64 . The woman had suffered a stroke .
Lisa “will forever be ingrained in pop culture and in our hearts like Wednesday,” her great friend and author Laurie Jacobson recalled on social media.

Just Loring, just five years old , was able to create the character that has become iconic with the pigtails and the headless Marie Antoinette doll , details that inspired all the subsequent representations of the little Addams house up to the most recent brought to television screens by Jenny Ortega in Tim Burton's Netflix series.

Ortega herself paid tribute to Lisa Loring by saying that she was inspired by her dance moves for the dance that went viral on TikTok.

Following Wednesday's role, Loring had a few appearances in the sitcom “ The Pruitts of Southampton ” and the spy TV series “ The Girl from UNCLE ”. Then some horror films and "As the World Turns", a soap opera that aired from the 1950s until 2010.

Loring, who is survived by two daughters Marianne and Vanessa , was also a make-up artist and pr in a hotel chain .
