In the famous series he was the son of Lieutenant Horatio Caine. He was found dead at home, he was 35 years old
Goodbye to Evan Ellingson: the former American prodigy actor was found dead in his home in San Bernardino county.
The circumstances of his death are not yet clear but it is known that he had had drug problems in the past.
Californian, 35 years old, he made his debut acting in the series “MADtv”, then in “Titus” and in “Selvaggi”, a role that earned him a nomination for the Young Artist Award in 2005 as best young supporting actor in a TV series.
Still, he appeared in "General Hospital", "Bones", "Boys Life", "State of Mind", "Confession", "Letters from Iwo Jima" and "My Sister's Keeper" with Cameron Diaz.
Its main characters were Kyle Harmon, the son of Lieutenant Horatio Caine in "CSI: Miami", and Josh Bauer in "24".
He leaves behind a daughter, Brooklynn Ellingson, born in 2008. The same year his brother Austin Ellingson died of an overdose.
