Giuseppe Conte was confirmed as president of the 5 Star Movement at the end of two days of online voting. The members who expressed their vote were 59,047 out of a total of 130,570 entitled.

The "yes" were 55,618, 94.19 per cent of valid votes.

"The members of the M5s have reconfirmed me with a strong and clear indication", comments Conte. "Such an important support is also a great responsibility. Now head held high, even more courage and determination in our battles. We have a country to change" writes in a tweet.
