Art historian, writer, architect, restorer of works of art and cultural heritage, the Sienese Auneddu Mossa was a professor of History of Art and Restoration in the State Academies, in particular a specialist in art education in Institutes of high culture.
He has overseen restorations in various churches in the province in collaboration with the Dioceses of Sassari and Alghero-Bosa, as well as for some collections and works in collaboration with the Superintendency of Artistic Heritage of Northern Sardinia.
Essayist of the history of ancient, modern and contemporary art and of the historical and critical methodology of the history of art and restoration, he has been a professor at Italian and foreign universities and academies of the history of materials and artistic techniques, of cultural and environmental heritage and Landscape, Restoration of Monuments, History of the Conservation of Works of Art and Theory and Methods of Restoration at the Universities of Turin, Urbino and Rome and at the Interuniversity Specialization Schools of the University of Turin, of the Faculty of Architecture of the Polytechnic of Turin and, in particular, of the Accademia Albertina of Turin.
In addition to numerous other collaborations and projects that have seen him as a protagonist in the national artistic scene.
Since 2006 he has been, by his express choice, a professor in Sassari, at the seat of the "Mario Sironi" Academy of Sassari.
