Giorgia Meloni celebrates one year in government: «Italy is more credible today, the priority now is reforms»
Interview on Tg1 with the Prime Minister, who takes stock of the first 12 months of her mandate: «I see the five-year horizon»
"Italy is today more credible, more stable, more listened to, thanks to its government." Thus Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, taking stock of her first year at Palazzo Chigi, which began after the electoral victory on 25 September 2022.
On Tg1 the Prime Minister explained: «I see the horizon of 5 years of government and that horizon also serves me to achieve the
great reforms that this nation needs. I would like this to be the year of reform: to see the first bricks of tax reform, to start constitutional reform, to do the most significant part of justice reform. And then the great reform of merit, particularly in schools and intervening on the housing emergency."
«There is a lot of work to do but we will respect the commitments made», concluded Meloni.
