Gianluca Vialli's funeral celebrated in London: the ceremony in private form

The funeral of Gianluca Vialli, who died on 6 January, was celebrated in London.

The ceremony took place in a strictly private form in the presence of about thirty people including elderly parents, a few relatives and very few friends. Among these the president of the FIGC Gabriele Gravina, Roberto Mancini, Ciro Ferrara and Massimo Mauro. The national coach and the former Napoli footballer carried the coffin, together with Vialli's brothers, Nino, Marco and Maffo.

The burial place was not disclosed.
