Skyrocketing prices for petrol. And in Sardinia one of the highest amounts in Italy is reported: 3 euros per litre, in a Buddusò dispenser.

This was underlined, according to the latest update by the Mimit Observatory, by the National Consumer Union.

But that's not the best: in Castellaneta, in the province of Taranto, a distributor is selling both petrol and diesel at even 4 euros per litre. And, again, in Senigallia a distributor sells it at 3.333 euros per litre, 3.219 euros at Misano Adriatico.

"We ask the Guardia di Finanza to verify whether it is an incorrect communication of data to the ministry and to ascertain the correct display of prices, imposing any sanctions in the event of violations of current legislation", says Massimiliano Dona, president of the National Union Consumers. Who adds: "Apart from this single case, however, we point out the problem of those who use special petrols, for example with higher octane, which have broken through the 3 euro threshold in some petrol stations".
