"Someone stop the speculations to the detriment of the Sardinians."
Yet another price increase sparks the usual controversy: the price of petrol and diesel has skyrocketed in just a few days and for Sardinian motorists it is time to dig into their wallets again to cope with the first fuel price hike of the year.
Consumer associations have wasted no time in calculating a bloodbath that in just one week has raised the average price of a full tank of petrol by 3.50 euros.
The Government, however, is trying to pour water on the fire by recalling that current prices are lower than those of 2023. However, the surge this time too is difficult to understand in its speed and intensity. So much so that the Sardinian representatives of the citizens accuse: «The supervisory authorities do nothing», thunders Giuliano Frau, regional president of Adoc . «And they do not stop the repeated speculations to the detriment of the poor citizens who feel mocked and often resigned in the face of price increases against which everyone seems powerless».
