Cantina Canu , with the Due Bicchieri Rossi awarded to Deispanta - its Vermentino di Gallura DOCG Superiore - entered the guide "I Vini d'Italia - 2023 edition" for the first time .

The young winemaking reality is led by the manager Carla Cualbu and by Antonello Nolis. The recognition is particularly prestigious because Gambero Rosso's Tre Bicchieri and Due Bicchieri Rossi are the flagships of Vini d'Italia: small productions next to prestigious best sellers, in a review that involves the best labels tasted by Gambero Rosso experts .

The winery was founded in 2020 with the first two wines (Vermentino di Gallura DOCG Deispanta and Cannonau doc Porteddu) but its history is longer and has its roots in the vineyards which are located in an ancient farmhouse from 1880 located in the inside a land of 240 hectares of forest, olive trees and granite in Luogosanto, in Gallura.

There are several awards obtained in just two years for its three flagship wines : Vermentino Deispanta, the award-winning Cannonau Porteddu (among the certificates, also the Gold Medal at the latest edition of Grenaches du Monde) and the rosé cannonau Bibi.
