Milan, Aosta and Trento are the Italian cities where life costs the most, Naples, Palermo and Pescara the cheapest ones. And below, between the city where the cost of living is not particularly high, is also Cagliari.

The figure emerges from a study by Codacons which, on the basis of the latest data provided by the Mise, examined the retail price lists of 17 major provinces by comparing the cost of a hypothetical basket consisting of items ranging from food (meat, bread, fruit and vegetables, fish) to services (laundries, professionals, body shops, bars, hairdressers).
