There are fourteen start-ups, represented by seven women and eight men, selected in Sardinia as part of the "Talent Up" project, an initiative of the Giacomo Brodolini Foundation (FGB) and the Sardinian Agency for Active Labor Policies (Aspal) carried out within the “Entrepreneurship and Back“ Program financed by the European Social Fund.

Now begins the final phase of the path that began in Cagliari with a course on innovative companies with internationally renowned teachers, including the founders of US Market Access Alfredo Coppola and Chris Burry, as well as leading figures of the Sardinian economic scene.

In the second phase, the participants flew to Silicon Valley, the world's cradle of innovation, for a one-month full immersion and a busy program of meetings and mentorship activities.

Discovering one's entrepreneurial potential, the strengths but also the critical points of the projects: this is the main purpose of staying in the US for young startuppers so as to find investors for their ideas.

THE PROPOSALS – There are many ideas in the agritech sector: from Davide Ardu who aims at the production of quality food, grown independently by those who consume, to Fabiano Asunis who intends to support large agro-industrial companies in the reuse of production waste by converting it into fertilizers biological; Riccardo Campesi and Antonio Tenuto , to reconcile an agriculture that respects the environment with the need for sociability of many people, want to design spaces suitable for growing sustainable food , also through the use of " gamification ", i.e. elements borrowed from games for induce active behavior on the part of users.Always with a view to the food of the future, Irene Ciabattini Bolla addresses the novel food market by proposing a food supplement for female well-being, based on classic beehive products plus the brood of fuchi , normally considered a discard.

Alongside them, some proposals on tourism, such as Sara Fadda who promotes a platform to create your own cultural travel itinerary , starting from the tourist opportunities offered by Sardinia, and to share it in exchange for the enjoyment of a prize. While Camilla Mameli and Caterina Paddeu worked on the combination of travel and wellness : the former wants to offer Forest Therapy courses to benefit people who suffer from everyday life, while Paddeu has chosen to address only women who suffer from stress and burnout with personalized courses in rural and sustainable contexts . Feeling good with one's body is also Silvia Cadelano 's goal who proposes to give new life to used, unsold clothing and unused textile products thanks to upcycling, i.e. the creative reuse capable of transforming waste materials into new objects , creating a network of craftsmen to optimize production.

Therefore, projects that combine technology and sustainability, innovation and spaces for human, personal and community growth.

And again, ideas for a different tourism for the island, where Marco Dettori proposes co-living for short-term trips and Daniele Gavelli rechargeable electric bicycles with solar energy , with battery with a functional design so as to double the miles that can be covered per day .

Three projects are instead aimed at new technologies , with David Andrea Collu proposing the use of 3D metal printing in the field of mechanics to obtain custom-made and high-strength pieces for machines and engines , at a lower cost and time than to the current ones. Lorenzo Finotto urges designers and creatives to work together within a community that optimizes efforts, investments and results. While Gaia Maria Sitzia addresses the freelance market, with a platform that suggests the perfect match for developing a product/service . Finally, Eleonora Todde offers a platform for "Do it by yourself" lovers : by uploading photos and videos of home spaces modified according to one's needs and life experiences, advice is exchanged for pleasant, functional and economical spaces .
