After the violence and the assault on the CGIL headquarters last Saturday, the front of those asking for the dissolution of Forza Nuova is growing.

The government will also discuss it, said the secretary of the CGIL Maurizio Landini at the end of the visit of Prime Minister Mario Draghi, who brought his and the executive solidarity to the union.

"I pointed out to President Draghi that on Saturday during our demonstration we will make a request for the dissolution of the forces that refer to fascism, as required by the Constitution," Landini said at the end of the meeting with the premier.

"A measure - he added - that we consider necessary and on which Draghi said they will discuss it in the next few days. For us it is one of the reasons for the demonstration".

Before we start talking about it in the government sphere, motions begin to flock in Parliament.

The Democratic Party in the Senate has presented one in which it commits the government "to follow up the constitutional dictate regarding the prohibition of reorganization of the dissolved fascist party and the consequent current legislation, adopting the measures within its competence to proceed with the dissolution of Forza Nuova and of all political movements of clear neo-fascist inspiration who are responsible for conduct punishable under the implementing laws of the XII transitional and final provision of the Republican Constitution ”.

"We hope that all authentically democratic political forces will subscribe to it", underlined the presidents of the Senate and Chamber Dem groups, Simona Malpezzi and Debora Serracchiani, adding that they will ask for the document to be scheduled as soon as possible in the classroom.

"It is the right time for an initiative like this that must be shared by the whole Parliament. The fact of Saturday evening is unequivocal. We do not want to manage it as a factious and election campaign. The dissolution is the right answer to a fact. serious attack on democracy. It was the leaders of Forza Nuova who created the clashes, it is right that Forza Nuova be dissolved. We will do everything to convince everyone that it is not a propaganda gesture and a divisive gesture ", the words of the secretary Enrico Read.

A similar motion was presented by senators Riccardo Nencini (Psi) and Davide Faraone, group leader of Italia Viva.

Movement 5 Stars and Free and Equal instead have joined the motion of the Democratic Party.
