In Formula 1, Kimi Antonelli is a show. The young Italian Mercedes driver, after Shanghai, also takes pole position in the Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka.

This is the 19-year-old driver from Bologna's second start. Teammate George Russell will start on the front row. Oscar Piastri will be third in his McLaren. Charles Leclerc's Ferrari is fourth, and Lewis Hamilton is sixth behind Norris in his McLaren.

The top ten is completed by Gasly (Alpine), Hadjar (Red Bull) 1'29"978, Bortoleto (Audi) and Lindblad (Racing Bulls).
