Good start. With “La notte dei Romantici” Modà conquered San Siro yesterday and are now preparing to repeat on June 28th at the Arena Fiera in Cagliari, closing a circle that began nine years ago with the same double on the big stages of Milan and Cagliari, and opening another.
This time, in fact, there is great news, because on the stage of a boiling San Siro Kekko Silvestre, with newfound confidence, after a bad period of depression, surprisingly announced that accompanying them for the entire tour will be Nicola Nite, his brother-in-law, but, above all, former singer of Tazenda, who left the group in January, after 12 years of music and friendship.
"In these months Modà have given birth to a great novelty", Kekko told the 56 thousand at the Meazza. "A new singer, who will join us, an extraordinary voice, the power of Gennargentu: Nicola Nite!".
In short, Modà are returning to Cagliari with a beautiful piece of Sardinia in the lineup, confirming the deep bond that has always tied Kekko to the Island, where he got married, with a second ceremony in Villasimius, after the official one in Milan , and where he found the inspiration for unforgettable songs, including “Cuore e Vento”, made in collaboration with Tazenda and sung, on Thursday, at San Siro, in a highly emotional duet with Nite, who then remained on stage with Modà for the entire live, on backing vocals and acoustic guitar.
"We can't wait to return to Cagliari, which is a city we particularly love, like all of Sardinia," Kekko told us, before the concert at the Meazza. "It will be a special night."
