Fear for Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs, the former Oasis guitarist and one of the founders of the historic English band.

The musician, who played with Liam Gallagher at the Royal Albert Hall in London on March 28 and was due to go on tour with him in the next few weeks, has announced that he has cancer .

Cancer has hit him in the tonsils and for this reason he is now forced to take a break from music .

“I would like to let you know that I will have to stop playing for a while - wrote Arthurs in a social post - I have been diagnosed with tonsil cancer. But the good news is that it is treatable and I will be starting a course of therapy soon. I'll let you know, I'm devastated to miss out on gigs with Liam and the band. Enjoy the summer and the concerts if you go there. See you soon".

Hundreds of greetings messages to the guitarist, one of all that of Liam Gallagher himself. Which is preparing next July 6 to play at the Summer Lucca Festival.

"I send so much love to the one and only Bonehead and his family - he commented - and I wish you a speedy recovery. We are all thinking of you, Rasta, you will be back on stage with us sooner than you think".
