The regional president speaks out against lawyer Riccardo Fercia: "I don't understand what capacity he's taking action."

"I deeply believe in justice, and I believe the Constitutional Court's ruling provided very clear guidance on the forfeiture part . Then it will be up to the judges to do their job."
This was stated by the President of the Region, Alessandra Todde , this morning on the sidelines of the majority summit on the 2026 Budget.
And regarding the additional defense brief filed on Friday by attorney Riccardo Fercia , representing the Regional Electoral Guarantee Panel of the Cagliari Court of Appeal, regarding the forfeiture case: "I understand that Attorney Fercia is no longer the representative of the panel, and before filing his briefs, my lawyers notified me of his resignation letter. Therefore, I cannot understand in what capacity he is appearing . However, I am not a jurist; I base my opinion on what constitutional experts, my lawyers, and the majority's opinion."
Fercia is still in office because a replacement has not yet been appointed .
