Sardinia lands in the heart of Paris, in a tres chic neighborhood of the Ville Lumiere that thinks of the Olympics and where you can admire the immortal art of Tina Modotti in the beautiful exhibition L'œil de la révolution , the largest ever dedicated in the French capital to the "photographer", as she liked to define herself, political activist and witness to some of the most radical upheavals of the twentieth century. On March 13th, Sardinia will carve out a significant space for itself in the agenda of those who love local cuisine, with the resources of its food and wine tradition and the strength of its literature. The event was born from the idea of the "Menu deleddiano" association, born on the island, which proposes, at the Asterie restaurant, in boulevard Raspail, in an original dinner (starting at 8pm), a menu in harmony with the atmospheres created by the writer from Nuoro, winner of the Nobel Prize in 1926. The French stage comes after the appointment in Brussels. «It is the fruit - explains the president of the association Vitalia Scano - of the collaborative relationship with the prestigious “Guillaume Tirel” school and the Academy of Italian Cuisine Delegation of Paris Montparnasse. We want to promote the excellence of Sardinia. A journey through the flavors and traditions of the island, which blend harmoniously with the inspiration of Grazia Deledda."

From su filindeu to s'aranzada

Many suggestions: from casadinas to su filindeu to maccarrones de busa to su porceddu (for the French “cochon de lait”) to saffron from Villanovafranca to dessert with sa pompia, l'aranzada (referred to in “Canne al vento”) and papassinos. There is also the vin rouge of Oliena (the nepente that Gabriele D'Annunzio liked) and the abbardente. A journey to discover flavors and traditions and a trip to Paris with Grazia Deledda.
