Flutes and bassoons in Sassari for the Conservatory's Wednesdays

The music of the two Sardinian conservatories will be featured in two separate events, each with free admission. On Wednesday, July 8th, the courtyard of the Palazzo Ducale in Sassari will host the Conservatory Wednesdays at 7:00 PM. The Trio Aurisanel, composed of flutists Aurora Bellu and Sara Beccu and bassoonist Daniela Sirigu , both students of the "Canepa" Conservatory, will perform.
The program for the "Harmoniemusik" concert includes performances of Franz Joseph Haydn's four London Trios and Divertimento No. 3 from Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's five Divertimenti for Wind Instruments, K439b. The Aurisanel Trio was born from a shared passion for Baroque and Classical music.
On Thursday, July 9th, as part of the Notturni Contemporanei series, the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Alghero will host the saxophone ensemble "GP da Palestrina" from Cagliari, composed of Letizia Castronovo (soprano saxophone), Francesco Maria Musu (alto saxophone), Elisabetta Lampis (tenor saxophone), and Valentina Spada (baritone saxophone). Directed by Diego Masala , they will perform pieces by Singelée, Girotto, Iturralde, and Diego Masala himself. Following this, clarinetist Gabriele Pampiro and pianist Walter Masala from "Canepa" will perform music by Stravinsky, Baermann, Milhaud, and their student Diego Aresu.
