Financial: 120 amendments by the Giunta, there is no one on the Cagliari stadium

There are 120 amendments to the budget law presented by the regional council by the deadline of 9 this morning. Among these, there is the proposal for the allocation of the fifty million euros that are missing for the construction of the Cagliari stadium .
It's not a tombstone on the project. There are still two ways forward : the Giunta could envisage the resources in an amendment to the amendment to be brought directly to the Chamber, or intervene directly with a resolution by the executive.
Times are tight because, in view of the 2032 European football championships, UEFA is asking cities for new and above all finished stadiums. And by 7 February Cagliari will have to inform the Fgic of its candidacy .
Overall , 1,500 amendments were presented by all the majority and opposition groups which will be sifted through this afternoon by the Budget Commission .
In the meantime, this morning the Labor commission met and elected Sara Canu (Misto) as president. Canu succeeds Franco Stara (Italia Viva-Udc) who had left in recent weeks.
