«If President Todde wants to recover money for Sardinian families, she should cut back on her job creations».
While waiting for the Budget law to be approved in the Regional Council, the provocation comes from the deputy group leader of Fratelli d'Italia Fausto Piga. For years, the opposition representative recalls, «the grillini and the left have criticized the Solinas armchair factory. However, when we reviewed the technical-political organization of the departments and presidency, we did it in good faith and convinced that it could be a useful tool to improve the government action by whoever found himself at the helm of the Region».
Hence the jab: «In fact, President Todde herself proved us right, because that law was never cancelled», attacks Piga, «but we would never have expected that from the no to the armchairs we would move on to their multiplication as happened with Provinces and healthcare».
In twelve months of legislature, according to the Melonian, «the only thought of the Todde majority has been to mortgage seats by giving victory to three seat factories: Todde super staff, Provinces and health».
In recent days, the Budget Councilor Giuseppe Meloni highlighted that the maneuverable mass of the budget is quite small, just three hundred million for 2025, 900 over the three-year period. "Objectively few appeals to provide concrete answers in favor of families, businesses and territories," observes Piga, "well: one more reason for Todde to cut back on her armchairs and find additional resources."
