The second day of the Filming Italy Sardegna Festival ends, in the splendid setting of the Forte Village. A day full of events and unmissable opportunities for sharing between actors and the press. Masterclasses with students, interviews, a red carpet that preceded today's award ceremony worthy of the Oscar evening.

Because of Oscar awards, this event has two: not only the living legend Christopher Walken, but also the delightful Laura Dern. Today's interviews focused not only on her, to whom the national press has given all the attention she deserves, but also on Dominic West, Prince Charles of The Crown, Clotilde Courau, Marco Bocci and Pietro Sermonti, Bruno Gouery from Emily in Paris and White Lotus, Martina Stella, Ilaria Spada and Richy Memphis in theaters in this period with "The Monstrous Wedding". The splendid Paola Turani was also present to represent the social world.

Here are some questions they asked the actors who indulged in the press today.

To the Oscar winner, Laura Dern: in the TV series "Big Little Lies", she has the role of Renata, a strong and independent woman, where female friendship and domestic violence are told, which contributed to talking about such a theme sensitive, what do you think can still be done to help this important issue?

«This fiction contained so much beauty and pain, I loved interpreting this choral story of friendship and shared pain. In America they tell you to hide your pain, perhaps by taking a pill to calm your mood. It is often a political issue, and we should talk about it, because this is the only way to help solve the problem".

To Dominic West, Prince Charles in The Crown, during the round table with the press: what do you think of the fact that the public, when they watch The Crown, often do not understand that it is a TV series, therefore fictionalized and dramatized, and not a documentary about the English Royal House?

“I think people love the royal family so much, they think everything they see about them is really like that. They don't differentiate a documentary from a film, because they are constantly bombarded with information about them, who feel they can take each other's side, as if they were their own family. Even Shakespeare spoke of family in his works, because family themes are very attractive».

Finally, a joke with Marco Bocci, recently in theaters with his second film as director, "The Hunt": what was it like directing his wife Laura Chiatti and Paolo Pierobon, with whom he was a colleague in the Anti-Mafia Squad?

«Working with my wife was extremely easy, she is an extraordinary actress, she totally immerses herself in the role, and having been close to me during the drafting of the project, it was natural to integrate her into the process. With Paolo Pierobon, being a champion, working together was just a confirmation of his immense talent, even if going from being colleagues in the Anti-Mafia Squad to directing it was a completely different job, but facilitated by understanding each other immediately».
