The foreign groups that will animate the 32nd edition of Figulinas , the international folklore festival organized by the Municipality of Florinas and the local folk group, come from Benin, Georgia, Martinique and Mexico.

It starts tomorrow from Nule , Thursday the festival stops in Budoni, Friday 12th in Ovodda, Saturday 13th in Florinas, his “home”, Monday 15th in Sorgono and closes on Tuesday 16th in Ardara.

These are the foreign groups: “Towara” association from Benin, with ritual dances from the Yoruba tribe; Erisa Folk Dance Ensemble from Georgia, with a series of dynamic choreographies with a strong visual impact, including Cossack dances; Compagnie de Danse Pom 'Kanel from Martinique, the most famous ballet in the Caribbean, which mixes African rites with the rhythms of the waltz, mazurka and rural sounds; Ballet Folklórico del Nuevo Santander with a wild and sensual repertoire of music and dances from Mexico.

Sardinia will be represented not only by the hosts of the Figulinas Folk Group, but also by the “Bella mia” Folk Group of Busachi; by the Tenor “Su Connottu” by Fonni; by the Folk Group "Garteddi" of Galtellì; from the Folk Group of Olbia; by the “Su Gologone” Folk Group of Oliena and the “Città di Sennori” Folk Group.

Figulinas has the support of the Region and the Sardinia Foundation and is the only Sardinian festival sponsored by the Italian section of CIOFF, the international circuit of folklore festivals.
