A sunset of rare intensity, sung by Niccolò Fabi and played by Roberto Angelini, along with the young island singer-songwriter Matteo Leone, will close the 2025 edition of FestArtes in Cala Sapone, Sant'Antioco.

On Sunday, August 31st, starting at 8:30 pm, Note lente – Concerto d'autore al tramonto will take place, an event conceived by Emanuele Contis and Ilaria Porceddu (also protagonists on stage) to give the audience a poetic and profound experience, in which music meets the landscape.

"Note Lente was born from a simple belief: music is an emotional amplifier, and it needs contexts in which it can be truly heard. In an age where everything is just a click away, we risk losing the sense of anticipation, of dedication to listening, of authentic connection with what we're hearing," explain Emanuele Contis and Ilaria Porceddu.

Niccolò Fabi and Roberto Angelini will deliver a spare and touching set, where words and melodies intertwine with the surrounding landscape . They will be joined by the hosts in an elegant dialogue between voice, piano, sax, and minimal electronics. The evening will be rounded out by Matteo Leone, a previous guest at FestArtes, an artist recognized for his sensitivity and deep connection to the island's culture.

"The idea came to us during lunch with Niccolò Fabi at Poetto in Cagliari, while we were discussing the importance of creating events that connect the type of music we play with locations that help us connect with the music," Ilaria and Emanuele explain. "Organizing a concert at sunset, with our feet in the sand of Cala Sapone, means offering a synesthetic experience where the landscape amplifies the musical beauty."

With Note Lente, FestArtes bids farewell to its audience.

Admission is free. The concert will begin at 8:30 PM. We recommend arriving early with a blanket or light seating to fully enjoy the experience.

FestArtes is an initiative of the Municipality of Sant'Antioco, produced by the Association of Local Authorities for Entertainment with the contribution of the RAS (Public Education, Sport and Entertainment Department) and the Fondazione di Sardegna.
