Actor Sam Neill has died. His family announced the news in a statement. The New Zealand actor passed away today at the age of 78.

Made famous by the leading role he played in Steven Spielberg's Jurassic Park (1993), he had acted in many films.

These include, for example, The Piano, The Hunt for Red October, and Possession. But also in numerous TV series, such as Peaky Blinders.
